League One
Nottingham Forest Yeovil
The final week of the domestic season should always be approach with caution, skinny prices and more 'dead rubbers than my old pencil case.
League 2 is a write off for me, promotion and relegation has been sorted, the play-off teams are confirmed so it would take some very interesting team news to get involved.
In League 1 we have 7 teams with very much something to play for Doncaster Notts For and Carlisle battling for the final automatic promotion spot and Gillingham Bournemouth Cheltenham and Crewe trying to avoid relegation.
4 of these 7 clubs meet each other today
Cheltenham Vs Doncaster
Carlisle Vs Bournemouth
With so much at stake these games may well be best left alone, as for the other 3 sides, well, Gillingham need a victory at play off assured Leeds but a best price of 4.0 is poor in my opinion, sure they might win, but a side with only 2 away wins in 22 matches would be 8.0 any other week of the year so with no value its a 'no bet'
Im happy to play the other 2 matches of meaning in this league though.
First up
Nottingham Forest know that automatic promotion is out of there hands, All they can do is try to win and hope Doncaster dont, they cant afford to settle for the draw as Carlisle could still snatch the final automatic spot too.
Nottingham Forest host Yeovil with Yeovil having nothing to play for so a Forest win looks on the cards odds of 1.3 are pretty good for the 'high rollers' but too short for me. I will get involved in a couple of correct scores though. Yeovil are the most goal shy side in the league just 36 scored in 45 games while Forest have the best defence in the league just 30 conceded so a Forest win to nil looks an obvious bet.
I think that once Forest take the lead they will be more than happy to sit on it and hope the other results go there way.
My bets therefore are:
2Pts Nottingham Forest 1-0 @ 8.0 with Stan James
3Pts Nottingham Forest 2-0 @ 6.5 with Stan James
Pick : Nottingham Forest correct score Odds : 8.00 Stake : 5 / 10 Bookmaker : Stan James Match Result : 3-2 Tipster Personal Link/Sponsor:
