This match is alot like last weeks play on the Highlanders,they had never lost to the Stormers and covered in the last second for us in that match,this week they have changed their line up quite a bit for this match but they have never lost to the Cheetahs either,so an intresting match in prospect here.

This match is far from easy to call,the Cheetahs are'nt the worst side in the Comp and have been very unlucky in a number of their games this season,they have only 1 win on the season when they beat the Reds here 3 games agaoi 29-14,but then went on to get thumped by the Stormers before scoring a few late to cover for us and last week were blown away by what is not the Canes best line up 10 - 38,can the Cheetahs beat the Highlanders,yes they can but the real question is will they.

The hHighlanders have changed their starting line up alot and have put quite a few starters on the bench for this one including Cowan,but they are still a huge chance here,they can compete and have done all season,they have a hard nosed backline and good strong forwards which the Cheetahs are about to find out.

This match is hard to pick for a number of reasons,both teams have had matches only to lose them,both sides have been in matches only for luck to not fall their way,both sides have lost 5 games each by less than 7 points but the biggest difference is that the Cheetahs have not beaten any NZ sides this year and have been thrashed by the Blues,Hurricanes and Crusaders who all had their way with them,the Cheetahs also have the worst defence in the Comp allowing 41 trys this season and 25 of those were all against Kiwi sides,not good reading for Cheetahs supportters.

Don't get me wrong here the Cheetahs are a big chance and surely desperation and pride have to come into play,but the way the Highlanders played last week makes you think if they can repeat that they will win here today and i think thats what will happen..Take the Highlanders in a canter(Gulp!!!)...Good Luck.
