How lucky we the Crusaders last week and why is it that in the World Cup the French beat us with that pass and people are still talking about that now over here and yet the Crusaders winning try last week came from a player who stepped out of the field of play in front of the touch judge who never raised his flag to give the line out to the Blues and yet only one person over here has even brought that up? That is why I have doubts over Rugby Union, there are so many wrong decisions called in every single game, sometimes it go's with you and other times it go's against you but to have the same errors in every single game is ludicrous and the officials are never taken to task about it,I see they are bringing in the experimental laws in around the world now, that will make even more of a mess of the Game especially for the European Sides who are used to kicking the ball out,but anyway that call cost the Blues the game last week and no one has been called on it and yet Union in NZ expects people to care when it go's against them in a match but don't care if it does'nt,Union is a shabbles official wise on the park,FIX IT,for Fucks sake!!!!!
1st plays 3rd here in the first match of the weekend and although the Sharks have been losing heavilky in their second halves over there last two games I have a feeling that with it all to play for and even despite their injuries for the Sharks that they might just turn up here tonight in Christchurch.
The Crusaders won last week thanks in large part to a pathetic call from a touch judge who never called a player stepping out and the week before they lost to the Cheifs, the Crusaders are a team to not take lightly as most woll know but they have not been at their best in recent weeks and injurys has alot to do with it,Carter,Thorne and Now Tui'alii are all out but they get laulala back in for tonights game, but a worrying sign for the Crusaders is that their normally strong forward pack has now been outplayed 2 games in a row and their scrum has lost the battle with both teams in the Cheifs and Blues in recent weeks ,this wil not be lost on the Sharks at all and i expect the Sharks to try and bully the Crusaders pack,a long shot for them but after what we've seen from both sides in the past weeks it can be done and the Sharks can do it also.
The Sharks are looking shaky and really need to get something here even a bonus point for not losing by more than 7 would help them and thats what i'm looking for out of them tonight, they have massive injury problems with Sykes,Barritt,Michalak,Du Pleiss and possibly their captain Mueller all out for tonights game but they have a chance to at least stay close to the Crusaders if they can get their defence right which was their saving grace all season long but thet has failed badly in their last two games in their second halves, the Sharks were leading against the Brumbies and stayed close to the Tahs in their last two games before capitulating in their second halves and being thrashed, they must get something out of this game and I expect them to try hard to at least stay within 7 of the Crusaders.
Recent results and the Crusaders have won 2 of the most recent 3 games, but who can remember last year in the final round when the Crusaders were leading after the full time whistle and they played the ball instead of kicking it out and turned it over, the Sharks then went the length of the field and scored and won the game, the Crusaders are talking revenge and I expect them to get some, but not the revenge by 40 some are talking up.
The Crusaders in 2005 smashed the Sharks 77-34 here at Jade Stadium and could do the same tonight.but the weather around the Country is crap and that could have a bearing on this match, not enough to make the Crusaders lose, but maybe, just maybe enough to keep it close, stake it low as this is a roughy for sure and take the Crusaders by 12 points or less...Good Luck.
