Well in this match I’m putting my money on favouring a pitcher that has been quite consistent, has some experience (7 years) and has been performing quite well in this season – ERA of 2.70! he has been in the injury list, but returns tonight and he is the kind of pitcher to allow very few hits. Even if Duscherer doesn’t hang on to many innings the advantage the A’s have in the bullpen is another data that back this pick.

In fact the A’s have a big advantage in bullpen – 3.00 vs 6.11 ! so , even if their pitcher goes out early, they should keep a big edge on pitching.

Because the angels will start Nick Adenhard in the mound – it will be his debut, he has been making lots of good pitches on the AA’s but the MLB is different. If he slumps it’s a easy win, but even if he hols up good and make good first game, things should be near to even until the bullpen comes.
