The Rep season begins in Rugby league with this Country/City match before next weeks Test and then we move into Origin period,For those who have'nt been here for the past 3 seasons I do quite well on Rep Games in League in fact in the past 3 seasons I have only had 5 losing tips on 26 Representitive Matches in my fav sport,and the funiest thing about that is that I don't bet on Rep league games,I have very small bets on them and when I say small I mean small,I just don't like betting on them at all,but I don't mind putting them together for all of you to take a look at,so here we go again another rep season is upon us,lets see what we can find tonight.

Just like in Origin between Quensland and NSW the side with the more likely looking players is City but as we all know these games are hardly as lop sided as they appear and they are almost always close,I like the look of both sdes but i'm going to side with Coubntry here tonight as this game is being played on their turf in the Country.

Country have a good side and committed forward pack here tonight,with the likes of White,Buderus,Ryan and Hindmarsh and Stewart,Cross and Heigington comming offthe bench they look very good,add in a backline with the likes of Stewart,Cooper,Lyon and Monaghan and a great halves pairing of Carney and Finch and they have very good mobile side who can compete and can play well.

City has a bigger forward pack than Country with the likes of O'Meley and King up front and Cashmere comming in off the bench with Gibbs they have a good look about them,their halves pairing of Anasta and Pearce who have been playing well for the Roosters and a backline consistiin of Hodgson,Hayne,Pomeroy and Delaney they have some players in form right now,but why they are'nt starting Wallace is a bit of a mystery and personally I think that will cost them and if they do try to get him out there it may be all to late.

In 18 of these matches City has won 11 and Country 7,they have both won 4 each in the last 8 games with the home side normally getting the choclates,the biggest winning margin has been 7 points in which City won 29-22 in 2003,the games have alternated between either side which should also indicate that it's Countrys turn this time around.

Like NSW/Queensland matches these games are hard fought affairs and are normally close,in fact it's not normally they just are close,both sides have alot of talent and both sides play hard,I like Country here because they have a better halves pairring but don't discount the City side either,but at home in the Bush the Coubntry boys will feel more at home and I like them to get a narrow 4 point win here tonight...Take Country by 12 points or less...Good Luck.
