Semifinal match between Ronnie O'Sullivan and Stephen Hendry

Match is beeing played best of 33 frames, so first player who wins 17 frames will qualify to finals.

Hendry won Ryan Day 13-7. It has been one way match from the beginning. Day entered very poor in the match and that resulted Hendry's lead 7-1, rest of the match was just formality. However, Hendry didn't impressed me. He is very experienced player, always stays calm in crucial moments and knows when is the best moment to put pressure on the opponent. Against Allen,Junhui and Day that was very usefull cause they are less expirienced and much younger players who felt pressure playing at Crucible. Against Ronnie that is not going to be very useful. Hendry is playing very good whole tournament, but it is nothing amazing, Ronnie on the other hand played some briliant snooker.

Ronnie won Wenbo 13-7, but Wenbo didn't put pressure at all on Sullivan except in the first session when he was potting everything. However, Ronnie is kind of player that is giving the best of him when he is under pressure.

Hendry and Ronnie are two old rivals so in this match both of them are going to give their best. If Ronnie is going to play as he played so far at Crucible than this should be his match and there is no reason why he would not play like that.

This year Crucible is full of surprises (Maguire,Murphy and Selby- nobody expected they will lose), to expect Ronnie to lose is a bit unrealistic but it is possible. However, if Ronnie is going to win and I really believe in that he will win at least with 3 frames difference. Hopefully Ronnie is going to play on his level and Hendry is going to play as he plays whole this tour.
