United – Barca

We watched an exciting first leg but defenses over come the attackers there. Barca, as always held the ball and controlled the game. United at the back successfully defend their zone. Missed penalty of united was unlucky of us.

In the second leg team have to take risk. Nothing to say about the offensive capability of the united. They hided their weapons in the first leg but they have to score here. After Chelsea defeat and upset performance against Barca in the first leg they need to prove themselves.

Barcelona played a game above the expectations. They controlled the game and created some chances. In the second leg sure they are underdog. However they have plenty of pacey players including Messi, Etoo, Deco and Xavi and they can punish United any time with a counter attack.

First legs of the cup matches create fewer goals because teams avoid taking risks. However in second legs teams prefer to play rather aggressive on attack. I think two goals are very like here when we consider that both teams has capability to score here.
