Galatasaray - Fenerbahce

No doubt this is the match of the season. If Fenerbahce win here for me they are 99% champions. If GS win with three goals difference same situation is again the case. In a draw or narrow GS win race will go on two more weeks.

Galatasaray last week beat Istanbul BB rather easy. A tactical change made by team management ( I don't know who is the manager.. probably team formed by a team consisting of three managers and board members) created the difference. Istead of double forward, they played with alone forward and crowded midfield like Fenerbahce.

We can say that know both teams will play same formation. Four men defense, a defensive midfielder and strong midfield. In front of them a creative attacking midfielder (Alex for Fener and Lincoln for GS) and an alone striker.

In our league underdogs usually make surprises in derbies but in this derby there is no underdog. Fenerbahce is in better form, better attackers, experience and physological advantage from previous successful results. On the other hand Galatasaray has home advantage, better defense.

I recently heard that Zico may be make some revisions on the squad and may rest Maldonado and Vederson. As a galatasaray fun it is also make me happy too if he give such a decision.

Umit Karan is injured for Galatasaray and alone striker probably be Shabani Nonda. Lincoln is doubtful but high probablity he will play. Okan Buruk and some long term injuries exist for Galatasaray. Fenerbahce will be without injured Roberto Carlos and Deniz.

Winner can be both teams. Fenerbahce is value bet here. But any result is highly possible. But formations of both teams make under 2.5 possibility higher. Stakes shouldn't be high imo.
