I had quite alot of luck yesterday on the EPL so i've decided to throw in this one for todays match between Everton and Aston Villa.

This match is huge for both sides,a win for Everton and they look to have the all impotant 5th spot wrapped up with two matches to play and a ticket to the Eufa Cup calls to them,a win to Villa and they get ahead of Everton into 5th place and have the upper hand wiht two matches remaining in their season,so there is alot at stake for either side today.

Everton have once again excelled this season and have looked great a few months ago in all competitions they were in,now their season's sucess hinges on this one game really,a loss is not the end of the world but hoping for another side to fail is not what they will want,they will be looking to reach the Uefa Cup again next year off their own backs and a win today has practically wrapped it up for them,they should get Osman back for todays match and are hopefull of also getting Arteta back today,but they are missing Cahill,they need all 3 of those players in their midfield to really hope to hold off a fast finishing Aston Vila here today.

Villa have been playing pretty well of late and although some might say that their opposition of the last few weeks in Bolton,Derby and Birmingham might not be the highest quality teams,Bolton and Birmingham have been playing a far better brand of football of late and they have scored 15 goals and only let in one in those matches,you would have to like any team who are scoring that many goals regardless of who the opposition is or was,I like Jhon Carew and liked him when he was Valencia a while ago now,I think he is a tremendous player who can score and in any team he can come up with the goods,add in that they have other players like Barry,Bouma,Petrov and Agbonlahor who are in good form and I think they will be very hard to beat here today even playing away,alot is on the line for them and they have come along way in just a few weeks,form is with them and with Evertons minny injury woes they have a real chance to get a result of the winning kind today.

Although this looks like a golden chance for the Villians to get in front running for the 5th spot today I have my doubts,Everton have never been easy to beat at home and in the last 6 matches played between these two home or away Villa hold the edge 3 wins to 2 with a draw,Villa also won their last match here in 06..0-1,but heres some intrwsting stats for you all coutersy of BBC Football...Everton have won 10 of their 17 home games this season with 3 draws and 4 losses and have scored 29 goals there and conceeded 14,Vila have had a decent season on their away travels winning 6 losing 4 and drawing 7,they have scored 33 goals but have also conceeded 25.....In 93 games played at Goodison Park btween these two sides Everton have won 45,Villa 24 and there have been 23 Draws...In the last 10 played between these two sides at Goodison Park Everton have won 4,Villa 3 with 3 games ending in Draws....Everton with any result bar a loss today will get their best ever Points total in a EPL Season.

Everton have been in prety good form at home this season and their loss to Chelsea there a week ago was their first loss there in 6 matches and they will know what this match means to them,I expect them t play hard today and get a result even against the high flying Villians.

I actually think this game is far more impotant for Everton than it is for Villa,Villa rounds off their season against two sides they should beat and beat well in Derby and West Ham,while Everton finish their season against Newcastle and Arsernal and I also think any result but a loss here against Villa would do them just fine..so all in all I think the final score will be 1-1 and both teams with Portsmouth will still be trying hard inthe remaining two rounds...Although I think Villa are a very real chance to get all 3 points here today I think the best option for picking a clear winner is to difficult...Take the Draw in this one...Good Luck.
