Again I’m going tonight on the Orioles, yesterday they won, in fact but didn’t cover the handicap, mostly because of the first innings where they starting behind the mariners. Tonight they are even more underdogs. I can understand why, in fact the pitchers seem quite different at the moment, but I’m guessing that difference is not that big.

Let’s see.

Jaros washburn will begin on the mound for seattle, he has a season ERA of 4.13 ( a lot better then Baltimore starter), but he made a terrible last game – allowed 10 hits in 6 innings – in fact this good starting season ERA is mostly due to the performance against the Kansas city royals, but they don’t have a great offense.

In Baltimore mount will start tonight adam lowen, that has a terrible start of season (ERA of 6.32!) – why do I believe lowen will pitch better tonight? Well first because he has been getting better by the game, last game he pitched he did a lot better then Washburn, and he has faced some more powerfull, offensive like the white sox.

So, in terms of oitching things will not be that different tonight, but in terms of batting, there is no question about the better period the team of Baltimore is crossing – they are hitting a lot better and have a lot more players to option to their offensive. The bullpen is similar, so being a big underdog, I’m going for the Baltimore tonight.
