The Sharks willl be looking to bounce back here today against the Tahs but they have a very rough couple of weeks ahead,the Tahs this week then back to Christchurch next week to face the might of the Crusaders,this Super 14 is really hotting up now that we are getting to the busieness end of the tournament.

The Sharks looked home and host at the major break last week before having no ball in the second half and making some bad errors,the Brumbies proved to good and ran away with it in the end,so we should expect a far more committed effort from them this week,they just stopped playing early in the second half and never recovered untill it was far to late,they still have a great defence though and you would be mad to not trust them to keep the game close here as they normally do,but they will also play hard because they are a real chance of dropping 3 straight games here and if they do all the chasing packs will of caught up with them so there is alot to play for here today.

The Waratahs are going along nicely and have not lost at home this season,they have now won 5 of their last 6 and defensivly they look great,but is'nt Lote Tuquri the be all and end all for the Tahs,he saves them so many times from conceeding points and also spearheads their attack,if he was to go down in a match and stay off I would straight away swap the team I think will win,in fact in a couple of Tahs games I have been almost yelling at the TV for Lote to keep out of rucks as the oppositiion are building an overlap and without Lote chasing them down they could well score,thats how much of an influence he has on their matches.The Tahs are going well though right now and I expect them to beat the Sharks and do it through their forwards,the Tahs Forwards have nott been at their best of late,they were two games ago at home against the Blues and I expect them to show up here again tonight.

The Tahs have won 2 of the last 3 played between these two by more than 13 points,last season the Sharks got up in the republic and won 22-9.

The Sharks need to give some real effort here as their great record is now crunbling,they just got past the Highlanders ,were awarded a draw against the Canes when they lost in reality and then were beaten by the Brumbies and now face the in form Waratahs and next week face the toughest assignment in the S14 in facing the Crusaders at home and they won't win that one,so their trip hinges on this match,but the Tahs are not the team to be facing right now and I can't see them giving in here aganst the Sharks,they are at home and should win,expect the Sharks to play well but to go down by 7...Good Luck.
