Gentleman Jim has a phenominal record around here. Ok so he missed the cut last year, but he was 2nd here in 05 and 06. He had a very quiet Masters where his putting let him down and he finished a remote 33rd. He would have been working on his flat stick technoque these few days on the short hop from Georgia to South Carolina. He has the main requirements in the bag already with a very reliable no matter how unauthordox swing. he is 17th in the accuracy stats and top 40 in GIR. His form here could well win him the tournament, and he is a much better bet at the top of the market to win it than out of sorts Els.

Justin Rose flattered to deceive yet again in the states when he actually led the Masters after day 1 to fade very badly to 36th. His driving is top 50 but his finding the green abilities just scrape into the top 100.

Jim is 100 times mentally tougher than the english Rose, and will be there or thereabouts on Sunday night where as I feel the Rose will wilt in the heat.
