Another shot for underdog in clash against player that succeed in last tour and had very short period of time to recover. 18 years old Slovakian Cibulkova in last Amelia Island tour reached final which was played only two days ago, where she lost 0:2 to Maria Sharapova. Even if she is in life performance, her still young organism need more than two days to stand at full power on court. She played very exhausting 3 set matches. In first round she met Rodinova and took win 2:0 but also we have to admit that in second set 7:5 result means that Anastasia was able to hold on equal level the game for most of set time. Now the situation is different, because Cibulkova is just over final and I remember many situations when players (not top one) after excellent tournament in next tour just few days after give up match in very first round. In my opinion young Cibulkova celebrated reaching her first WTA series final and she won't be fresh enough to fight for high ranks in Charleston. Anastasia isn't very good clay plaer, mostly average game. But she once was able to hit higher in ranking Bammer and in last match of these two in second match she really pulled her game on right level. If she will play a little better today and Dominika is a little bit tired then we go and catch this... Good Luck!
