Denver and Houston both have what to fight about. Houston has a shot at the first place in the West even and even if not, they will finish gladly in the fifth place, if it means to meet Utah in first round revenge with home court advantage because of the better record. I know that every team in the West is dreaming about meeting Houston, but for the Rockets there is no easy opponent, so they will try to win the most they can and hope for the best.

While Houston battles for the record, Denver are fighting for their place in play off. They depend only on themselves right now and if they win the remaining two games, they will be in the post season. A loss tonight and they will depend on GSW results.

If Battier is out, I just can't see Rockets win this one. Too many miss matches. Will McGrady guard Carmelo? Will Scola guard Martin? Head on Iverson? I will take those parings since I just can't see neither of the above mentioned stopping the Nugget in front of them. Battier is the perfect SF to guard Carmelo and his absence is much more important that the bookies give credit to. Without Yao, Denver should control the paint and if Hayes plays instead of Scola, you left with T-Mac and Alston as the only options in offense.

Denver play great game at home and with the importance of the match for them and the miss matches, I think this is a great bet to take.
