Jupiler League - Volendam v Dordrecht Football betting preview

Thanks to 8 wins and only one loss in their last 10 matches, Volendam enlarged their chances for winning the league and promoting to the first Dutch league without playing playoffs. Volendam is currently on the first place with same points as their main contender RKC Waalwijk (playing away against Veendam and probably will take the three points) They are playing in great form, winning all of their last six matches and I believe that they will not ruin this great run in last two matches. Last match they were losing 3:1 and they changed the result in their advantage, winning at AGOVV with 3:6.

Volendam’s opponent Dordrecht has nothing to play for, they are in the middle of the table with no chance of catching the playoff with wining the period. In this league there is no relegation so Dordrecht is playing without a pressure and only for their pride, because other goal they do not have. Their form is not so good, wining only two matches in their last 10 and losing last two.

Historically, Volendam has many troubles playing against Dordrecht, last win over today’s opponent was in October 2005. Since that win, they lost twice from Dordrecht and drew twice. Despite not so good tradition lately, I believe that Volendam currently has better team, has better goal to play for, motivation is on their side, has home court advantage, has full team with no absences to chose from and home win should not be a question.
