A mid week gem here as the season winds up to a thrilling climax. Halifax are in real danger of dropping out of the 5th division and heading into unchartered waters that represent the Blue Square North. Halifax are on a horror run at the moment with just 7 points from a possible 24, and a minus goal difference of 10 in their last 8 games. it came to a head at the weekend when they were humbled 6-1 by mid table outfit kidderminster in their own backyard. now I'm always wary of backing a team after they have been thumped, as they often put together a much better performance next time out, however halifax have been so poor of late, I justcannot see that happening tonight. They have even lost 2-0 to Droylsden in recent weeks, and that is just not good enough for an Ebbsfleet team that still ahrbours pretensions of making the playoffs.

The newly named this season side are playing better football than their recent run of results suggests, and holding table toppers Aldershot to a 2-2 draw means that this is a side that hasn't done yet for the season. The main difference tonight will probably be Luke Moore who has been a revelation this season, and Daish cannot keep his praise for the youngster under wraps as he exudes about his performances, and just hopes he can keep onto him this summer.

Halifax come here with at least 4 regular first teamers on the injury list, and I can't see how they will get past a strong Ebbsfleet side.
