If you like tension and watching games with alot riding on them then this is the game to watch today as both sides are playing for 8th place in the Western Confrence and will have the edge in the final games to hold on and cement a place in the Playoffs albeit in last place,last season the Warriors got in this position and made it by beating Dallas and then went on to roll Dallas in the First round of the play offs,this time around they face a different side altogether and I don't know if they can get past the Nuggets to get there this time around.

The Warriors come into this season defining game on the back of 2 wins and 3 losses in their last few games,they beat the Kings in their last game at home 140-132 but they really are going up and down right now,last season they came into a very impotant game like this and were winning and winning well they had a great record against the Mavs and it showed when they played that "Must Win" game,this season they are not playing anywhere near the same level as last season and it will take a massive effort to get past the Nuggets here.

The Nuggets come into this game also with a bad run of late,they to won their last match 117-99 against the Clippers who have been playing well of late but they to have only won 2 of their last 5 matches,howver they have been good at making the games count when they need to and this game is no different,I like the Nuggets in games like this against high scoring sides when they need to win as the Nuggets are full of streaky shooters who can do the job when it counts.

Both teams are 47-31 with only 4 games left on their seasons a win here will give them possesion of their own destiny in their remaining matches while the Loser must hope for a slip up and be ready to pounce if that happens,Denver have won 7 of the last 10 games between these two sides and have won 3 of their last 5 in Oakland including 2 of their last 3 here,they have won 2 of the 3 matches this season against the Warriors including their last match here 124-120.

This match will come down to which sides starters can get the best out of themselves and whos bench players can rise to the occasion,with Camby,Mello and Iverson the Nuggets have the advantage I believe over Jackson,Davis and Ellis and on their benches I like the bench of the Nuggets with Najera,Kleiza,Nene and Smith against the Warriors bench of Wright,Croshere,Barnes and Pietrus.

Also in the Warriors favour is even if they lose they still play the majority of their remaining matches in Oakland and if they lose this match they are still a chance if Denver trip up in their remaining games.

Look this game is huge and I expect both sides to play some form of defence and get the job done here,there are some mouth watering matches in this game and no matter who wins it will be well worth the watch,but I think that Denver are a huge chance here tonight and have the team to get the win tonight..take the Nuggets to grab the 8th spot in the Western Confrence tonight...Good Luck.
