Portsmouth Newcastle
Pompey are doing exeptional and I think they will love one more win to come closer to Everton who will probably drop points. Newcastle after they made a couple of convincing wins (1-4 away to Spurs, 3-0 last week v Reading) they are feeling much more secure and they couldn't care less imo to go and win away at Fratton Park. Home side will have Defoe now available after he missed the midweek trip to West Ham for family reasons.
I think that many of you will disagree with this pick, but if we take a quick flashback to the whole season, Pompey when they had a big match where they really needed a win at Fraton Park they either missed it with a 0-0 draw or got it narrowly 1-0 exactly like their last game. I think that you will agree that whoever scores on this one will be defending madly in an attempt to hold tightly onto their lead. If the first half ends without a goal I think this bet will certainly be a winner.
Jamie Ashdown had some problems with his back so Pompey recalled Begovic from his loan spell at Yeovil. Barros may make a comeback alongside Defoe who has scored on all the matches he featured. Owen has scored on the last four but I reckon neither of the stars is going to net one on Saturday.
Taylor should be alright for the visitors and N'Zogbia makes himself available to Keegan. However Given, Carr, Cacapa, Milner and Emre all miss. Something tells me that Newcastle will be joyful if they manage not to loose on this one. Of course the Magpies are not going to face a relegation threat and that is the reason I can see them focusing more on their last home games.. For example the one v Chelsea will be an interesting one, precious chance for redemption and for big dreams if you know what i mean..Under 2.5 looks alright for this crucial encounter..I will take it with medium stakes..
