Premiership - Birmingham v Everton

Everton take on struggling Birmingham in an attempt to hold onto the Uefa cup position. I don't think they can reach Liverpool and even if they do, they will be still be below them. Birmingham have a scandal to face at the moment as their co-owner David Sullivan & Carren Brandy were questioned by police in connection with allegations of false accounting and conspiracy to defraud. For the moment their shares are suspended but I don't know if this issue is going to affect the players.

Alex McLeish is thinking of renewing the contract of the Tunisian talented player Nafti, plus he can count on Kapo's return against Everton. The Toffies have lost Cahill to injury and they are looking shaky at the back. Yakubu is under a period of quiteness and mediocre performances and I think that Everton will not go for all the 3 points here. David Moyes will be more than happy to get something out of this game as he knows better that Portsmouth or even Villa still have a slight chance of leapfrogging them.

I expect Birmingham to give it all for a win and with the help of their supporters they will eventually prevail on this one. Birmingham too good to go down imo. Home win with the cover of the 0 AH looks like a pretty good offer to me..Good luck with your thoughts..
