Onto the Super 14 for this weekend and only one game on Friday Night as the still second placed unbeaten Sharks attempt to stay that way against the first up win last week Highlanders.

This game is far from easy to predict the final score,the Highlanders have played well all season and as have the Sharks but the Sharks are away from home and the Highlanders are at home after their first win last week,another thing that makes the final score in this game hard to predict is that while the Sharks have conceeded far less than the Highl;anders conceeding only 83 points they have only scored 131 poiunts this season while the Highlanders have actually scored 4 more points than them.

Away from home the Sharks are still very good but not the same side when at home scoring only 58 points o their travelas while only conceeding 36,the Highlanders at home have let in 81 points but have scored 75 of their own.

The Sharks had a tough game last week and were really lucky to get the win last week as the Ref really stuffed up by not checking that last second try that would of won the game for the Hurricanes,but undefeated the Sharks stay and fair enough,the Canes really did'nt do enough to win that game anyway and the Sharks did enough to win it anyway,so i believe the correct result was observed in that match ending in a draw.

These teams in there last 3 matches against one another have resulted in 2 wins to the Sharks and one to the Highlanders,intrestingly enough the Highlanders win did'nt come at home instead it came in 2005 when the Highlanders hammered the Sharks 7-43,the Sharks have won the two most recent games though.

It's hard to fault the Sharks defence wise and not many sides are really cracking them untill after the Sharks have already wrapped up the game,but the Highlanders are also a very good defensive side at homne and will play for the full 80mins and for that reason i think the Sharks should win it but I'll look for some value here and take them by 12 points or less...Good Luck.
