Blue Square Premier - Stafford v York

Its not often i am willing to write up a side that got beaten 6-1 last time out but tonight i will make an exception.

York City got stuffed 6-1 away at Crawley on Saturday in what they are calling there worst performance of the season, that defeat makes it 3 losses in a row for York. Im hoping for York to react from that defeat with a positive performance tonight and they do have to potential too, This is a York side that not long ago went 12 unbeaten and beat runaway leaders Aldershot 2-0. 9 of the 11 that were beaten 6-1 on saturday played in that Aldershot win, so im willing to give them a chance to turn things around tonight.

Stafford will be relegated this season and there is every chance it will be this evening. Joint bottom with Droylsden 18 adrift of safety with just 6 games left. Stafford have managed just 3 win this season of which only 1 was at home. They are currently on a run of 6 straight defeats.

These are 2 sides in poor runs at the moment but York clearly can improve where as Stafford seem to be a poor side, York at 2.00 seems well worth a look tonight and after the rocket they got after Saturdays defeat i expect a better performance against a weak Stafford side.
