I backed Rochdale at the start of the Seaon to win the league at fancy prices based on their form of the second half of last year. From December last year they put a terrific record together which saw them pushing for a top 4 slot. They appear to be having a very similar season again this year. After a slow start they have really got into top gear lately and are on a run of 6 wins in the last 8 scoring 19 goals in that period ( best in the league ). This has been down to messrs Howe, Dagnall and Le Fondre who have eached scored a hatrick since 16th March. That stat is pretyy unique in the whole of the football league and has not been repeated this season by any team in such a short space of time. It is lucky that "Dale" have Rene Howe, as he has come from the Posh and there was talk of him going back there, but after his treble on Saturday there's no way the Dale faithful will want to see him anywhere but on their home turf. This is another must win for Rochdale as they strive for that playoff berth, and with Notts County missing upwards of 4 main players tonight, I'm happy to back them quite big to do so, and get their own back for the County win in the reverse fixture a few weeks ago.
