Tomorrow is the first of the big April Classics, the Tour des Flandres. This year you can expect quite a show, since it's predicted some rain. Everyone who follows cycling know what rain makes here in this dusty classics. Mud, crashes, punctures, you can see all that. The cyclists change with the weather, the brave appear, the situation changes. That's why i know that, even with an enormous good willing and good preview, some will fail just because of the weather.

The race is around 260 km long, full of pavé and hills. The race is not flat, so it's a race for good endurance, hilling and hard cyclists. It's a damn show.

Why Sykvian Chavanel is the favorite here? I really don't know and i really don't understand! He already have great results in this season but he isn't rider for this type of classic! He never make a good result in a Cobblestone race!

Stijn Devolder is in good form too, race at home and he already have good results in last years in this type of classics with cobblestones and hills! Tour des Flandres is the most important classic of the year for the belgium riders and they always make huge effirts to make a good result.
