Newcastle after two wins in a row over Fulham 2:0 at home and great away win against in-form Tottenham with 1:4 is now hosting one of the weakest visitors in Premier League, the team of Reading. Reading is currently three places above relegation zone and with 6 points more than Bolton six rounds until the end. They improved their form lately having only one defeat in last 5 matches, the one away at Liverpool and except that loss they won three (Birmingham and Manchester City at home and Middlesbrough away) and drew in the previous round with Blackburn.

Despite these good results that Reading gained lately, after what I saw against Tottenham, I believe Keegan finally found the right tactics and knowing that the atmosphere in the team is great and the huge optimism among the fans for this match. As Keegan said, for the first time since he has been hired atmosphere in Newcastle is on very high level and he is expecting huge support from the fans. He promised to the fans that they will give their best to prove that they are quality team.

Given, Emre, Milner, Cacapa, Carr and Ramage are out, but I do not recognize some important absence. Maybe someone will say that Given is important, but I cannot agree with that. Harper was much better goalkeeper this season than Given, so I do not see some lost on GK position for Newcastle. Reading is only without Matejovsky who is suspended.

Newcastle noticed their first two wins under Keegan in their last two matches and the team is playing pretty well. Knowing that they will have huge support from the crowd and that they are playing against one of the worst visitors in the league, I believe in another easy, third in a row, win for Newcastle, to make even lower the probability of relegation.
