Chennai Superstars are going to take on the Kolkata Tigers for the 3rd position in the Indian Cricket League after both teams had a narrow loss in both their sem-finals.

Chennai clearly has the advantage today because of the extra day's rest while Kolkata played till late last night. Chennai clearly should have won their semi-final and are also the defending champions in this tournament, but were really unlucky due to a early batting collapse.

The wicket today is superb, and why shouldn't it be, it has to last 80 overs with 2 matches being played on the same pitch, so the first two teams that play should get best use of it.

Kolkata's bowlers Hayward, Adams, Chandana and Klusener got taken to the cleaners last night as the Badshahs amassed a huge 182 runs on the board. As long as they get Klusener out early during their bowling, the Superstars should not have much to worry.

With Chennai's batting line up a bit longer than Kolkata, it could prove to be an advantage. A lot will depend on Harvey and Stuart Law to succeed to lead this team to victory, and when the going gets tough, the tough get tougher, and thats what we should expect today.
