Souffleur is trained by Aintree specialist Peter Bowen, and loves it round here having won twicw from 2 runs here. He has won a grade 1 this year from Elusive Dream who hacked up here today from the Cheltenham novices, he has had a good break from jumping and avoided the hustle and bustle of Cheltenham and has had a good run on the flat to get him pin sharp for this contest. All the signs are in the right place for a BIG run at a decent price. The big danger is the likely favourite Tazbar who has beaten our fellow earlier on this year, and again like my tip he has been kept fresh for this contest. However he is just as likely to win as Souffleur, but is a best priced 15/8 which is a little too short for me with so many variables around. I like Souffleur an awful lot, and I know my losing run isn't endearing me to many followers, but I'm wading in again with big money each way. William Hill are really ducking this one and go only 6/1 3rd fav, so they obviously share my thoughts.
