Thus us essentially a rerun of the Sun Alliance chase at Cheltenham, as the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 6th and 7th take each other on again. Albertas run should run his usual sound race, and although I was on him at Cheltenham, I will oppose his today as the Sun Alliance takes an awful lot out of novices, and we saw today with Kauto Star that if they have a hard race at Cheltenham , they don't perform as well only 3 weeks later. I am opposing him with Cedrus Libani as I beleive Howard Johnson has primed him ready for this and bypassed Cheltenham deliberately. He has won his last 3 races all over 2 miles, so the distance of 3 miles is a little bit of an unknown, however his astuts trainer would not enter him here if he didn't beleive he was in with a chance. He has also won round Aintree so obviously likes the flatter tracks. Roll Along stays for ever and would surely want further in time, whilst the danger could be Paul Nicholls Big Bucks, but at the likely short price I'm happy to go with this each way shot.
