The Charlotte Bobcats host the Toronto Raptors. I believe that i am the only one here who has been backing the Bobcats in this season finale, and i will continue to do so until they fail to win a "winnable match". The Bobcats are 5 games behind the Hawks who occupy the last playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, and even though the gap is rather big with 9 games to go, i believe it is achievable, as their schedule will be easier than the one of their contenders: they will be hosting Raptors, Cavaliers, Celtics, Timberwolves and 76ers and will travel to Raptors, Knicks, Pacers and Nets. With some focus they should win all home games except the Celtics one, as the 76ers in the last game won't care anymore for sure, while they can beat the Knicks away, and with passion and determination could get 2 out of 3 against Raptors, Pacers or Nets. So they may grab 6 or 7 of their last 9 in my opinion. They have won 3 in a row away from home, against Lakers, Supersonics and Trailblazers, which is very good considering their value away. This has certainly brought some hope in the team, and they will have to take every game 1 by 1, starting tonight against the Raptors.

Toronto Raptors are 7th in the Eastern Conference, 4 games ahead of the Hawks, and there is no pressure on them as it is almost impossible for the followers to catch up. They are not having a very good period, as Bosh was injured for some time, so the Raptors lost 8 of their last 11 games. The Raptors are coming off a very hard match against the Hornets in Toronto. The Hornets shot almost 70% in the first half and had a 20-point lead, but slowed down towards the end, and the Raptors ran a lot trying to come back, but failed and won by 7 points. The Raptors shot above 50% also, but NO's 60% was just better. Still, they've put a lot of energy in that match, and tonight traveling to Charlotte may be too much.

The teams met twice this season: in Toronto, earlier in the season, the Raptors won 98-79(they shot 17% better than the Bobcats), while in Charlotte, 1 month ago, the Bobcats won 110-98(Bosh did not play, but the Bobcats despite shooting 9% worse, still won by DD).

Tonight it will be a closer match. Richardson and Wallace are in good form, but so is C. Bosh, who had 21 points in 30 minutes against the Hornets. Still, the motivation is clearly on the home side, and considering the fatigue factor, i believe the Bobcats can snatch their 4th game in a row. Good luck.
