This is the most important match in this season for both sides. If Sparta won, they would go to a 1pt lead in the table and they would get on the first position after the long reign of Slavia. On the other hand if Slavia won, they would be in a lead of 5 pts and this should be a great opportunity to get closer to win the title. However, this match is also called the battle for the city and in this game we can´t expect any kind of goal galores (there were some exception of course but regularly this match ends with 0:0 or 1:0 score). I can support my idea by names like T. Øepka, T. Sivok, M. Kadlec (defensive line of Sparta) and M. Krajèík, M. Suchý, M. Latka (Slavia defensive players). Unfortunately one of the best defenseman of the entire league Erich Brabec (Slavia Prague) has 1 match stop after 4th card in last game in Zlín.

So in my opinion this could be game of 1 goal. 1 mistake = 1 big problem in the chase for the title. That´s why none of these teams would like to loose this match. Both sides will prefer defensive style of play and names mentioned above should help to keep the score unchanged for at least 1st half. The key will also be to stop best strikers of both teams: Slavia´s Goce Toleski (8 goals) and Miroslav Slepièka (10 goals). But in my mind strikers will often need to rely on themselves cos no or very small support of midfielders can be expected.
