Minnesota Timberwolves host the Utah Jazz this evening in an "early" game.

Timberwolves are 13th in the Western Conference, and overall one of the worst teams in the league. But recently, they have gathered some decent results, winning 3 of their last 5 at home. The Jazz are fighting hard for a better position in the West, currently being on 4th place, 2 games behind the leaders, NO Hornets. They need such a position desperately, as they are a true "home team", playing excellent on home ground while away they are below average. Being higher at the end of the regular season means the home advantage in the playoffs, and this is just what they need. But it's not going to come easy tonight. The teams met twice this season:

The other problem of the Jazz is that Kirilenko will not play due to a right calf problem, while Okur and Brewer, the team's 3rd and 4th scorers, and Okur the second rebounder, have a stomach virus. Brewer seems that is getting better and might play, but Okur is questionable, and i believe he will not. In this situation it is not wise to take the Jazz to win by 6 or more, but neither to take the Timberwolves to cover, as they are a weak team overall and one cannot trust them, considering they have no motivation. So the best thing is to take the top scorer and rebounder, Carlos Boozer to have a great performance tonight, and score 35 Points+Rebounds.

Boozer is averaging 21.8 points and 10.8 rebounds this season, but lately he is having some very good performances:

- 23 points and 15 rebounds against the Lakers

- 26 points and 13 rebounds against the Supersonics

- 28 points and 13 rebounds against the Bobcats

- 34 points and 17 rebounds against the Clippers

Considering his teammates' medical problems, he will have a bigger role tonight, taking more shots and rebounding more balls for sure, so i believe he can get 30-35 points and get 10-15 rebounds tonight. Good luck.
