2nd match of the Finals, Storhamar leads 1:0 (3:2 OT).

Not the most expected Finals as Valerenga were no1 favorites for the title, while even Sparta was in front of Storhamar by the odds. Still, Storhamar was one of the most confident teams in QuarterFinals, beating Stavanger with "sweep" 4:0 (2:1, 2:1, 2:0, 2:1). First you notice is the low number of goals which isn't incident as Storhamar played really defensive. In SemiFinals they've faced title favorites, Valerenga, and also won, this time with 4:2 (4:1, 1:4, 4:2, 5:2, 1:4, 4:1). Again, low number of goals for GET-Ligaen, in only one match they went over 6,5 in two games it was over 5,5. Storhamar played defensive again, and when they managed to defend they've won. Against Frisk it's hard to defend all the time, but we will come to that...

Frisk eliminated Furuset in QuarterFinals with 4:1 (3:5, 8:2, 4:1, 3:2, 8:0), then in Semis they've knocked out Comet with the same result - 4:1 (4:5 SO, 7:3, 4:0, 7:4, 3:2 OT). First you notice about their games is that they score a lot, average more then five goals per match. It's hard to control the match when they start to attack and pressing and only few teams so far managed that. Only Furuset managed to beat them in regular time in Play-off (on weird way, as Frisk lead 3:2 at the end of 2nd period, losing third with 0:3). Anyway, Frisk is most efficient team in league, they were during the regular season, they are now in Play-off too. They are only team that didn't played patient in games in PO and so far it payed out to them. Having lost only three games so far, and all were opening games of the serie.

Frisk was regular champion, leaving Storhamar 12 points behind. In Play-off they also looked like better team, beating their opponents with bigger margins and i rate them better. In first match at Hamar they've lost in penalty shootout, but it's lottery. In regular time they were equal, if not better opponent. Now, at home ice, with imperative of win (to keep they home advantage in serie) i think they will solve all in regular time. I even think that -1,5 handicap is worth considering.
