GS Warriors host the Portland Trailblazers.

Warriors are on 8th place, but only 1/2 games above the Nuggets, who are in excellent form and are coming hard from behind for the playoff spot. The Warriors have won the last 2 away, but lost the last 2 at home, against Rockets and Lakers. They will have some tough matches until the end, but what's important is them winning the ones against unmotivated teams such as Portland and the h2h ones with playoff contenders Nuggets and Mavericks. Davis, Jackson and Ellis are in great shape, getting some nice points game after game.

Portland Trailblazers are out of the playoff fight. The Western Conference was too much for their current value. They had some easy games lately, 2 against poor Clippers, Minnesota, Seattle, which they've won easily, and a surprising win over the Wizards, but in the last game away, they lost by 13 points to the Supersonics, which is a clear sign of decrease. After second scorer and rebounder Aldridge got injured, now their most important player B. Roy will be out also with a groin problem. This leaves the Trailblazers naked away from home, in front of a team in desperate need of victories, and that is fully motivated to get them.
