In this match we can expect a real battle. Liberec is trying to improve their position in the table after weak 1st part of the season, cos they were one of the candidate for relegation. After winter break Liberec haven´t lost any game so far and recorded 3 victories (eg., theydefeated Teplice 4:0) and 2 draws. Before the season Liberec was tipped to be one of the favourites for the qualification to some european competition and nowadays they need to work hard to get in this position. Liberec is in the 7th position 8 pts behind 3rd position (Teplice) ensuring UEFA Cup. Olomouc is playing better after winter break as well. They suffered one loss with strong Brno but they were able to draw for the title going Sparta and they scored off Ostrava which is 4th in the table. On the other hand I have to say that Olomouc has never won in Liberec. 7 times has Liberec won and there has been 5 draws, no win for visitors.

Liberec is favourite for me, even though Liberec sold or loaned out some players (A. Petrouš - strong defender, D. Pudil - on loan at Slavia Prague, now member of the Czech national team, J. Blažek - on loan at Slavia, tipped to be a future star, I. Hodúr - midfielder playmaker). Liberec has 3 equal strikers (J. Nezmar, F. Dort, T. Radzinevièius) and there´s good competition in the team on this position. I can mention key midfielder P. Papoušek who scored 4 goals so far. Olomouc was really active during transfer window. 17 players moved out (for example K. Vacek moved to Sparta Prague - top youngster, or R. Hochmeister - he was loaned from Liberec and he returned to his team) and 11 players joined this team!!!!

So Liberec will try to move up and this game will be close, I think 2:1 for Liberec. GL
