I know, this is a public bet today, neverthless I´m gonna join. Unics Kazan has probably the best squad last year (in ULEB Cup) but finally failed to Real Madrid. They changed the coach and a lot of players, so a slow start was not really a surprise. In 2008 they play on a high level, although they play much better at home. Their best players are the French Kirksay, the Serb Savanovic, the Lithuanian Lavrinovic and the American McCollough.

Artland Dragons are the surprise team of this Cup, they kicked out Triumph, another Russian team. Well, it´s hard to say, it´s a German team, cause 10 of the 12 players are Americans, the coach too. I´m sure the Russians won´t underestimate them after the first game, when Artland won 80-78, leading by 15 points in the third quarter.

If we look at the stats, there is only one conclusion, Kazan will thrash them. Kazan at home:

91-65 (+26) vs. Türk Telecom, 68-50 (+18) vs. Eiffel Towers, 98-45 (+53) vs. Hapoel Jerusalem, 94-57 (+37) vs. Strasbourg, 90-87 (+ 3) vs. Zadar

I doubt, that Artland will score more than 65 points, this should be enough for this bet.
