WTA TOUR: DOUBLES

A.BONDARENKO/K.BONDARENKO - A.MORESMO/S.KUZNIETSOVA

What is this? I don't get why bookies put 50/50 chances for this match. Maybe again I have no idea about some injury, but saw both Bondarenko sisters yesterday in singles and they looked fine. Of course Svietlana and Amelie are great but only in singles in my opinion. In doubles they don't posses any good points. After a year break they returned to playing together in doubles and in 2008 ladies played only three times. I don't think they will be able to build up form from 2006 which even could be not enough for Ukrainian sisters duet. Bondarenko's had won this year Australian Open and captured Open de Gaz de France title and this year they faced only one loss after 10 straight wins against Peschke/Sugiyama team. Now sisters are rested and in situation when Kateryna get out of main singles draw I don't think they will give up this tour in doubles. Ladies really know how to cooperate and in doubles it's very important. Yesterday without any problems kicked off Gajdosova/Steward team and tonight I think they will be able to send off two singles stars. They lost only a set in this year against fair double couples and Svietlana and Amelie don't look to feel enough tuned to fight with this team. Yesterday big problems against Craybas/Jidkova in first set (tie-break) and in my opinion it's worth nothing doubles couple, so if they had problems with such opponent what they can do against rocking Bondarenko's? In my opinion nothing and I don't get it why bookies show such odds for this match. We will see... Good Luck!
