It's been some bad days for German Tommy Haas. Shoulder problems cause that he lost his game rhythm and for a long time we didn't saw Tommy that played so well year ago. Loses to Hartfield, Becker, Isner and Ferrer in 2008 and only one win over Kendrick after 3 set fight, that is really miserable. Even a loss to Ferrer 6:3, 6:0 is really weak, because David is not at top form and in that tour was making a lot of mistakes, Haas didn't used non of them. I don't think he will catch form in 10 days and that why I picking here maybe less stable but still at definitely better performance French man Benneteau. Few days ago Julien got nice appearance in Las Vegas where he beat Bjorkman and Hewitt and loss to Querrey you had won this tour. Even more loses to Wawrinka, Ferrero, Seppi and Youzhny looks better in compression of Haas loses. H2h is 1:0 for Tommy but match was 2 years ago and Haas was in class better form in 2006. Now Julien is the one that catches the form and stand against a chance to move to next round of Master tour. Haas with his health and mentally problems isn't too dangerous and the only matter that French man need to handle is his own psyche. If he was able to bite Hewitt he will be able to out stand also well experienced Haas. Odds are very equal but for me Benneteau is a favorite here. Good Luck!
