Both players entering the maindraw after succesfull qualifications. Neither player hasn't easy job. Both played maximum sets Vemic winning McClune and Jenkins while Haase won Levy and Anderson. A slow court isn't most favourable for Haase because he likes to hit much winners and at early stage, at Indian Wells opponent has the time to return the ball. Still he's much better than Vemic. Vemic started his professionalcareer at late stage, 23 years old and is now 31. His results during this season aren't too promising when there's losses for example for players like Kukushkin and Guez and he has never made his way to the top 100. Still he has had the game to make his way further but his mentality has been weak and maby no enough will to practise and do the work to progress his game enough. Haase has impressive results during last month but Vemic should have some potential to the upset.
