I think it’s far from over in this one. I just can’t imagine Tottenham giving up without a fight. They played poor in the first game and I liked the way that PSV played but I rate these teams as fairly equal and that’s why I will back Tottenham to win this one. They have been very inconsistent since winning the Carling Cup and it’s rather disappointing after such a good performance against Chelsea. Tonight however they know they have to win to progress and they have what it takes to score goals. Ledley King was rested but will return to the starting 11, but Younes Kaboul ,Ricardo Rocha, Alan Hutton who is ineligible and the two long term absentees Gareth Bale, Benoit Assou-Ekotto won’t play. But Tottenham have a great attacking force with Berbatov and Keane and as their task is to score at least once they will play offensive football. Juande Ramos wants Tottenham to win this trophy and he knows how to win it.

PSV have no new injury worries, they didn’t play at the weekend against Ajax because of a police strike in Holland. Ibrahim Afellay missed the training on Monday but Sef Vergoossen believes he will be ready to play. I don’t know who will start the game for PSV in the attack. In London Lazovic and Dzsudzsak were left on the bench.

All in all I expect good 90 minutes of football. Both teams can still progress and both want to progress and shine in the UEFA Cup. One more thing: should you believe Tottenham will progress it’s better in my opinion to take Tottenham to win the game with slightly lower odds but if the game ends with a 1:0 win for Tottenham there will be extra time and you still my lose your bet.
