First match of SemiFinals.

Comet made a surprise and great comeback in Quarter Finals against Sparta, coming from 0-2 in series to 4-2 win. All results were very close and tight - 2:3, 2:3, 4:0, 4:3OT, 4:1, 4:3SO. If we take a closer look, we will see that Sparta in the last weeks of regular season started to lose pace, their good place at the end (3rd) was held thanks to the results from the beginning and middle of the season and their great home record. Comet did their job great and won against them when it was needed.

With this Semis, Comet fulfilled their goals for this season as we can read from their coach's statement: "We beaten Sparta, it was historic success. Now everything else that comes is only a premium."

This statement can be good and bad, it will depend. Now pressure is of his players, he gave the favourite role to the Frisk, but his players could relax a bit too much and it could become deadly, especially against team like Frisk.

Frisk is regular season champion, they were great through the season and were the most efficient team as well. By far the most efficient team. They came to Semi Finals with 4-1 win in serie against Furuset, which wasn't a walkthrough. In first match Frisk managed to lose 3:1 lead that they had in the end of 2nd period. In third period they conceded four unanswered goals for final 3:5 loss. In 2nd match they showed who's the boss here with easy 8:2 win. In next games they continued to build from that win and won all encounters - 4:1, 3:2, 8:0. This 3:2 result might look tight, but it was obvious from the beginning who will win that match, Frisk controlled it till the very end when Furuset managed to score 2nd goal.

Frisk also had two days more to rest, they have better quality in team and only question here is will they show it in first match. Comet has extremely bad tradition with them, losing almost 2/3 of mutual meetings, and i think Frisk will continue in that bright tradition today too. H2H this season:
