Parma have only one point advantage over relegation places and they just can`t afford to lose points. They have been quite inconsistent this season, but at home they are still hard to beat with a 5-3-3 record. If we forget about last week trashing by Roma (4:0), Parma played very well recently with superb win over Udinese (2:0), and three consecutive draws against Cagliari, AC Milan & Torino.Hosts will miss Domenico Morfeo & McDonald Mariga, both injured.

Sampdoria on the other hand are fighting for UEFA cup place as they are currently 7th with 36 points. They shine all the way when they play at home, but playing on the road is a totally different story as they picked only 10 points out of 39 possible. They have quite easy schedule until the end of the season and that is good news, but their main problem should be injuries/suspension worries -> Vincenzo Montella, Mirko Pieri, Claudio Bellucci and Hugo Campagnaro are all out injured, while Antonio Cassano and Luigi Sala are suspended. The latter two have scored last weekend against Torino and especially Cassano`s suspension (he has been great recently) should have a major impact on their gameplay.
