NBA - New York Knicks vs Portland Trailblazers Basketball betting preview

The Trail Blazers are out to put a further dent against the Knicks tonight as a full strength Portland team are out to take on a handicapped New York side, that are bottom of the eastern conference.

Portland already beat Knicks in the corresponding fixture earlier in the season by 6 points, and will be looking for a similar or greater margin tonight.

On the back of a magnificant fight back against the Bucks, coach Nate MacMillan feels the side is ready to put on a last minute run to improve their chances of grabbing the last playoff spot in the West.

LaMarcus Aldridge is coming off a season high 29 points against the Bucks and will be looking to have a field day tonight as Zach Randolph will be missing his 5th straight game with a sore foot. His absence also is a dent in the Knicks scoring and rebounding as they have now dropped 5 games straight including 3 straight at home, which really should give the Trail Blazers confidence.

With a team that doesn play defence at all, things could not be worst for them with the amount of injuries they are facing this season. Add to the mix Brandon Roy who is all charged up and will draw confidence from the earlier meeting in the season when he got his first triple-double against the Knicks.

This should be one way traffic for the Trailblazers who play deep in the bench with Rodriguez, Outlaw, Jack and Frye.
