How fast can you lose your reputation in EPL? I say..2 defeats in a row are more than enough. And if you haven't got my point yet, I suggest you remember the old good strong and mighty at home City from a few weeks ago, and then today's City who come off a loss and only a draw against "poor" on the road Wigan..



But...I was against City last round...isn't it? YES I was, and that's because of Wigan's defensive minded football on the road, and then their improved form, and it was quite logical that the Citizens are going to have problems against a side like this. Ok so WHY do I back City now? Good question, here's the answer:



The Royals might be coming off a great away win on the road, and a first clean sheet after so many rounds, but it's a FACT that they can't defend, and have maybe the worse defence in league if we don't count Derby here. The only reason why they didn't concede against Boro was because of Boro's modest attack, and also their poor finishing. Having said that, they've been awful at the back this season, and don't see how they can improve things in a week or two. And the blow doesn't stop here, Graeme Murty - key defender - is out for the clash, and Brynjar Gunnarsson (regular defensive-minded midfielder) is out too.



The Citizens might be missing Petrov for this trip, but they've always been dangerous on counters, and if you let them spaces (and I think the hosts will), another clean sheet is a big doubt. That's the way City have got most of their points so far, and as long as they play another shaky defence like Reading's, and get the level ball, we've got to back them no doubt about that.
