Why Portuguesse teams are always underrated? It's fact that both Benfica and Sporting should have been in Champions League right now hadn't they been so unlucky, as they play really well, and could beat any side on their ground. Benfica were -1 against Nurnberg, for a reason or another, they only get -0.25 against Spanish Getafe. As Benfica couldn't have changed so much in 3 weeks, it has to be Getafe who probably are being viewed stronger, while in reality I don't think they are.



The Spaniards are a pure counter-attacking side, they always play counters, especially away from home, and especially against stronger teams. And it's happened for them to even beat Real Madrid on their ground, but it had more to do with Real's lack of imagination up front, and less with Getafe's great defence, or killing attack. Cpmpared to Benfica, there's a big difference in quality. Like it or not but Getafe are an average Spanish side, and Benfica are one of the best in Portugal, and as the Portuguesse team get underrated of late, the value has to be greater. -0.25 is actually ridiculous, especially that we're talking about an International match where the home advantage means a lot more, no matter that the visitors have a full squad available and the hosts are without Petit and Augustin Binya, while Nuno Gomes, David Luiz, Ariza Makukula, Nuno Assis and Maxi Pereira are all doubts.
