Championship - Coventry v QPR
5 March 2008
Preview By Tipster Lordburt (England)
The 'Championship' has thrown up surprise after surprise this season and not many would have fancied Bristol City Stoke and Plymouth to be in the top 6 with just 10 games to go.
QPR have huge backing now and will probably end up buying there way into the 'Premiership' before too many more seasons, The money they invested during the transfer window was, i believe, to achieve a short term fix, that being, to climb away from the relegation zone, Which they are doing. If they want to push for promotion next season then they will need to invest more as the current crop they have aren't good enough to get them there. What it will do though is make the current crop try that little bit harder to try to avoid the 'cull' that could well happen come the end of the season.
Coventry are in the relegation shake up and hope that appointing new boss Chris Coleman will have the desired affect, im not so sure though, He is still young and inexpierenced and although he has coached in the Premiership and spain, the bottom of the Championship is a long way from there!!!
QPR have turned in 2 good away performances in recent weeks and anything close to them performances tonight should see them edge past Coventry at a decent price.
