Davenport is bidding here for her 55th career title and to be honest it should be a walk in the park for her. Davenport is beginning to find her feet again after her lay off and has breezed into the final of this event without dropping a set. Her opponent tonight is relative unknown Olga Govortsova who is appearing in her 1st WTA tour final.

Govortsova had one win of note on her way to the final that being a 63 36 64 semi final victory over Shahar Peer, that win should ensure that Davenport is fully focused on the job in hand. In other matches in 2008 Govortsova has been beaten....and beaten well by some pretty averages players.

In what does look like it could be a one-sided final decent bets are usually slim pickings, however, i like the look of 2 bets, Under 9 games in set 1 & 2 both better than evens and i honestly dont see any reason why 'Big Dave' wont win by a scoreline of 6-2 in both sets at the very least.

Govortsova is bound to offer up break points during this match (hell, most women do!!) and if Davenport can take them and keep up her solid service game this bet has every chance.
