Today at GSP stadium in Nicosia, 3rd place Omonia takes on 4th place Apop Kinyras a Paphos team from the other side of the island. Apop has been the pleasant surprise of this year sitting at the top 4 of the table, and I am sure that not even the most optimistic fan wouldn't have guessed that their team would be doing so well.

Omonia on the other hand comes of from a disappointing loss from Anorthosis, where the game was scarred with vandalisms from Omonia fans, and unfortunate events after the game such as fights, and police arrests.

Omonia is pinned with their backs against the wall today, and if they don't win they can kiss any european aspirations they have goodbye. They are already 6 points behind the Apoel which occupies the 2nd position that leads to a European UEFA spot.

Apop will play today with counter attacks, in my opinion without any stress because they have achieved their goal, which was the top half of the table. They can be dangerous for any team, but I believe today Omonia will find a way to get away with a win. I was seriously expecting much better odds on Omonia than 1.60, but what can you do.
