Emma Lavelle is in good form of late, and I backed a winner of hers yesterday. This so of act one has just had the one outing over hurdles to date and was a good 3rd to a much better stablemate in a race that he did well to come so close in. This is not so much of a hot race as that was, and he gets a very useful 7lbs from his only serious threat in the shape of the Venetia Williams trained Maraafeq. He shaped well on the flat for John Dunlop, and liked some give underfoot which he will get this afternoon. He has already been nibbled at in the morning markets, and should start us off on a good footing today with a nice easy win.
