Blackhawks are coming off a win against Coyotes. Hard fought but a win, it doesn’t matter how you win, just that you win. They do though come into this game with few injuries, RW Martin Havlat ,G Nikolai Khabibulin (back), C Robert Lang (back), LW Ben Eager (concussion), D Brent Sopel has a cracked bone in his wrist and may miss 2-3 weeks. I wouldn’t call Chicago a great team but indeed they do have their moments against weak teams. Although without Khabibulin in goal they will struggle against Dallas. His replacement Lalime is 4-5-0 with a 3.07 goals - against average in nine career meetings. Chicago are 12th in Eastern conference and are 14-14-5 away from home. They are 7-2-1 in their last 10 though. Now I know you might say they are on the roll. Teams they played recently are Coyotes (win), Anaheim (loss), Kings (win), Wild (win), Blues (loss). We know they can beat the likes of Kings and Coyotes – what a struggle that was anyway, but Anaheim is all together different matter and then 5-1 loss to Blues, what was that about?!? In Patrick Sharp, Patrick Kane, Jonathan Toews they have allright forward line but compare that to Dallas’ and you will see a huge gap in class and quality of the players.
