Darts Tournament - Raymond Van Barneveld v Terry Jenkins
21 February 2008
Preview By Tipster Lordburt (England)
This bet is a Week 4 specials bet: under 21.5 180s tonight.
So how many 180s will their be tonight?? well, in the 1st 3 weeks of 'premier league' we have seen 15 then 20 then another 20, so under 21.5 looks to be in our favour so far.
We can see a maximum of 56 legs of darts tonight if all 4 matches go the full distance. Week 1 produced 53 legs, Week 2 52 and week 3 53 legs and tonight we can expect to see a figure around 53 legs again although any less will increase out chances of under 21.5 180s.
The Taylor/manley match i dont imagine will produce many 180s, As pointed out in Toffees post Manley hits hardly any, so if we say 4 180s in that, then the other 3 matches needs to produce on average 6 each to stuff us. If any of them ties falls short then suddenly 1 match will need to hit maybe 9 or 10 to put us under pressure and i cant see that happening.
The opening 3 weeks of 'Premier League' has see a very high standard of darts yet not surpassed 21 180s so i believe under 21.5 @ 1.83 will give me and excellent run for my money at the very least but im confident of a nice pick up here to be honest.
