The Champions League has become Bentitez last chance of silverware this season after being kicked out from all competitions and almost losing hope in the EPL title this year. It may seem that the CL is a much harder task than the FA Cup in which Liverpool lost to the 16th in the Championship but it has been always a simpler task for the Spanish coach.

On the other hand, Inter has won the last year's Schudetto without any competition and is currently on top of the league with the same scenario as well. However, the question remains "When will the Nerazzuri compete in a European competition?". On paper, Inter possesses all the weapons needed to get crowned this year including Chivu and Maniche but it has never been that easy.

Regarding teams news, Benitez will miss both Agger and Veronin due to injury. This means either Kuyt or Crouch will partner with Torres. I really hope Crouch starts but Benitez has been relying on Kuyt. Reina, Gerrard, Mascherano, and Torres will all return back to the squad after being rested in the weekend loss to Barnsley. On the other hand, Cesar is suspended. Both Vieira and Figo are doubtful. Materazzi, Ibrahimovic, and Cruz are all expected to return to the squad after being rested in the game against Livorno in the weekend.

Verdict: It's either the draw or Liverpool to edge this one. But I simply can't see Inter winning at Anfield. So Liverpool on level ball it will be.
